Hi, I'm Saad Bruce Shaar, the owner of SBS Media LLC and the person behind the camera on every shoot.

SBS Media is a Chicago photo and video studio. I cover weddings and events, portraits and headshots, and licensed drone work across the city and the surrounding suburbs. Whatever the job, the goal is the same. Images that look like the moment actually felt, not stiff and over-posed, but real.

I shoot candid because the best photos usually happen in between the planned ones. The laugh during a toast, the quiet look before the ceremony, the kid who won't sit still. My job is to catch those without getting in the way of them. You stay present with the people around you, and I handle remembering it.

Working solo means you deal with me from start to finish. The person you talk to when you book is the same person shooting your day and editing your photos afterward. Nothing gets handed to a stranger. I bring full backup gear to every job because some moments only happen once, and I'm an FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot, so aerial photo and video is something I can add legally and safely, even in Chicago's busy airspace.
